There are more pictures of them on my website.
Great cat pics on your Site, AsIs. How old are they?
I lost one of my cats (Primer) some time ago when a Rottie killed her while I was on vacation, but a new one found me at the racetrack. So of course I named him racetrack.

Congratulations on all the success.
How cool is that? That's very cool. He sounds like a cool guy. Very interesting, I can easily see the undead lurking around New Orleans. Good choice on his part. I might have to start reading comics again. Do you carry The Red Star? I didn't see that series at your Site.

I'm sorry to hear about Edison, Nomad.
Nommy! Good to see you again, It has been too long since I have seen the english mangled so badly!
Q, you found a bag of cheetos at the racetrack???
Cute picture. My cats are about 12 years old now.
Some cool news. Since we started the Comic Store online, I have been focusing more on independants trying to give them a bit more exposure. I have done the same with the storefront. In January I went to a big convention in NY. Just as I was about to leave I stopped by a table of a company I hadn't heard of yet, called Markosia. Got the free books, talked for a few minutes and that was that.
Well since then, the guy who heads up Markosia in the US has visited my store. I hooked him up with some other stores in the area and he has helped me out when I forgot to order some of their books for a customer. In short we have developed more of a friends relationship in addition to the retailer/distributor one.
He has a book that comes out this week, called Of Bitter Souls. He did a signing for us last weekend and he gave me a copy. I read it Sunday and liked it a lot. It's about 4 lowlifes who get superpowers and fight evil in New Orleans. Ghosts, Vampires, etc...They haven't worked their way up to FEMA yet.
So the cool part, you know how a lot of books have that section in the back where the author thanks people? Well, I was reading that and discovered that my name was there!!! How cool is that!
I think Racetrack has become the unofficial mascot of Speculative Vision.
Q, any luck scoring the Amber novels? http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/038...lance&n=283155

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Nommy, I don't recall you mentioning it, but maybe I just missed it. I'm really sorry about that. Valen lost a cat last year, too. I bet Drew was upset.Quote:

Hey all, I'm back chained to me desk (clank, clank) after two weeks in St. Augustine.
Great going on the store, AsIs. At last, a reason to visit Flemington, N.J. How's the action figure business these days? I've got box loads of Star Trek figures I don't know what to do with. I figure if I live another forty years, I can take them on the Antiques Roadshow in 2047. I can hardly wait. I should have invested in Gumby.
That's kind of a neat promotion from Doritos--getting a free cat in every bag. I'm more a Kettle Cooked Potato Chips person, myself. You can get them with barbecue, but not with pets.
So, how come the cast of Farscape is now on Stargate? I've obviously missed something here (like two years of episodes).
Iz
Nommy, sorry to hear about Edison. When I lose Tara or Mouse, I will be a mess. *hugs to you and your family*. I have some JMS books if you are interested Nommy...
Q, cute kitty with the doritos fetish. I'm not sure if Red Star is still being published. If it is, I can order it without any problems. I will look into it.
Iz, well, they needed a job...
HiHo, Iz!
Sorry about the desk situation. Hmmm...8 gauge steel...a good quality chain.
It's even worse than you think, Stargate speaking. Stargate has become the the sci-fi alumn show.
Currently on the show as regular or reacurring charcters are Ben Browder (Farscape,) Claudia Black (Farscape,) Lexa Doig (Andromeda, The 4400, Earth: Final Conflict, Flash Gordon, and Tekwar,) Jolene Blalock (Enterprise,) Robert Picardo (Enterprise,) and Connor Trinneer (Enterprise.) There are probably more, but those are the ones that come to mind.
Ben Browder's character was brought in to replace the retiring Richard Dean Anderson. On the show, RDA's character has been promoted to be the head of Homeland Defense for the entire planet. Currently many of the world's governments are aware of the Stargate and have not only formed an International Oversight Advisory commitie (the IOA,) but a agency to defend Earth (Homeland Defense) of which RDA's character heads. RDA occasionally makes a one scene appearance here and there or "talks" to Col. Landry (Beau Bridges, the new head of the SGC) on the phone.
Claudia Black's character of Vala was only suppose to be in a couple episodes last year, but everyone was so impressed with her (the cast, the production staff, and especially the fans) that she was asked to come back. Currently she's signed to be in all 20 episodes of the current Season 10.
Her character of Vala was a person who was taken to be the host of a minor Go'uld System Lord which eventually had the parasite removed by the Tok'ra.
They've tried to minimize Browder's and Black's (Browder and Black, still sounds like an Irish whiskey to me,) on screen time together because of their Farscape history together. Personally, I think that's a load of smeg, but I'm not a t.v. producer.
Personally, I think Claudia Black has created quite a different and interesting character in Vala from her character on Farscape and it shows how versatile of an actress she is. I'm glad they decided to sign her on for the entire run of Season 10. Though I could do without the pig-tails.

I'm sure Racetrack would love Kettle Cooked Potato Chips as well. The pita eats anything and everything.
He IS a cute little bugger, but a huge pita as well.
Since some of you won't go to SV [eh hem...Q looks in AsIs's direction ;-]) ] here are some more pics that shows the cuteness that is Racetrack...
